President

  • Chair meetings and contribute to supporting executive portfolios
  • Contact with sponsor and seeking sponsorship monies
  • Compilation of Annual Report
  • Monitoring social events eg, meet new families, coaches, managers
  • Figurehead of the Club
  • Deals with any complaints raised in a fair and equitable manner
  • Update Facebook page with any news or current information

Secretary

  • Direct liaison between MWNA and the Club
  • MWNA/Club contact for Club forfeits
  • Monitors incoming emails and distributes to appropriate executive member for action
  • Delegate from Cromer Netball to attend MWNA monthly meetings
  • Correspondence to members – emails from MWNA
  • Collecting information from Coaches for allocation of courts for training purposes
  • Forward information to families with current Covid news
  • Update Facebook page with current information as received from MWNA

Treasurer

  • Balance bank account details at registration
  • Monitor ‘Active Kid Voucher’ usage at registration and reconcile
  • Provide Asset & Liability statement for AGM
  • Payment of MWNA invoices
  • Payment of Cromer Netball invoices

Registrar

  • First point of call for all membership enquiries
  • Uploading information and criteria for the software portal for on-line player registration
  • Monitors online registration
  • Ensures all players have up-to-date photos as required
  • Monitoring on-line player registrations
  • Process all Late Registrations emails to MWNA Comp Secretary as required
  • Submitting grade information to the MWNA portal for team registrations
  • Maintain spreadsheet of players/grades
  • Contribute towards grading decisions

Umpire Convenor

  • Schedule all rostered umpiring to relevant teams
  • Arrange all mentors to junior umpires as required
  • Promotion of umpire standards
  • Create umpire training modules and practical sessions for training umpires
  • Monitoring mentor programs
  • Attend Club Umpire Convenor Meetings
  • Must be present at Curl Curl for junior timeslots
  • Update Facebook page with current umpire news and information

Coach Convenor

  • Assist with finding and allocating team coaches to teams and be a reference point for new coaches
  • Support new coaches with their roles and encourage them to complete Foundation Coaching online modules
  • Update Facebook page with current information as received from MWNA Coach Convenor
  • Promotion of Coaching tips/exercises
  • Promotion of coaching standards
  • Maintain Coach Reports in times of reference at Grading

Gear Convenor

  • Maintaining spreadsheet of gear
  • Ordering uniforms as required
  • Contact with manufacturers for uniform information
  • Contacting new families to ensure they are aware of uniform needs
  • Stocking kitbags with their resources – balls, bibs, first aid kits etc
  • Provide Treasurer with a detailed report of any monies accepted

Minute Secretary

  • Distribute agenda items to Committee using the template
  • Record minutes at meetings
  • Distribute draft minutes to the Committee to ensure they are accurate
  • Email minutes to the President for distribution to the Exec and members that attended the meeting

Grading Committee

  • Knowledge of the players and the teams to be graded
  • Organisational skills in selection criteria
  • Positive approach to selection process
  • Willingness to support Coaches and Executive
  • Grading Policy to be emailed to all parents at the beginning of the season (if grading is required)

Rep Convenor

  • Attending Saturday games to identify representative talent
  • Knowledge of the players identified
  • Consult with Executive for input and consultation

NetSetGo Convenor

  • Liaise with local schools for support – Newsletter, emails
  • Email to existing families to advise the program details
  • Arrange/upload information to Facebook page
  • Arrange/upload information to website
  • Organise support from youth players
  • Ensure each week has a structured program
  • Ensure that kitbag has all appropriate resources
  • Create certificate and party day activities

Social Committee

  • Provide information of fundraising activities for the Club
  • Develop relationships with teams to support the Social Committee
  • Seek donations as raffle prizes
  • Be the contact for donations
  • Arrange thank you letters for the donations

Strong organisational skills to continue positive support for fundraising activities
